About Us

It is now recognised that there is an international skills shortage within the motorsport industry.
Many companies are unable to nuture the talent they employ, in the main due to cost of training. We see the opportunities available for a combination of work based learning and specialised short courses which will enable employers to update their staff or introduce new technologies and materials.
In October 2006 our 2nd year ND students moved to a purpose built 6500 sq Ft workshop at Castle combe circuit, Wiltshire.
The building has initially been financed by the circuit and the design incorporates 3 classrooms, an Engine and Machine shop, as well as a large vehicle workshop. Further financial support has been granted by the South West Rural Development Agency.
The Castle Combe centre also houses the Foundation Degree and exciting plans are being developed for a second, larger building to use from September 2010.
It will also be used to continue and broaden our Motorsport Marshalling training in addition to providing short courses i.e CNC machine programming, Suspension set up, ECU programming, Vehicle Data logging, TIG welding etc.
The workshops are open on race, track and test days to assist competitors in any way possible. The building is available to companies, motor clubs etc for new product launches, in-house training, club nights etc.
The facility is also being hired to deliver practical training to students studying Motorsport courses at University. There have been further expressions of interest from the United Arab Emirates to use our facilities and expertise to help them offer Motorsport-based courses.
