Swift 92 Formula Ford 1600

The second of the Formula Fords run by the College is owned and driven by David Vivien who is in his second year of Foundation Degree, it is his first racing car after progressing from many seasons racing Karts.

The 09 season is Dave`s second in the Castle Combe championship and it started well with a second in class on the first round.

Again a lot of work went into the car over the winter with a new engine being built by us which according to Dave feels like it has 10 more BHP! Dave has also prised open his dad`s piggy bank and managed to get a new set of tyres for the next race so we are very hopeful of a class win.
